Job Title: Lead BA
Years of Experience: 6 - 10 years
Location: Bangalore
Role Summary:
This role will focus on the candidate to participate in the development / upgrade of new or existing products, from concept to completion. The candidate should be able to gather product requirements, prioritize features and improve overall customer experience. The successful candidate should be a self-motivated individual with an ability to learn new concepts and domains quickly. The candidate should have an analytical mind with a problem-solving attitude and a keen eye for details. The candidate should be able to work under dynamic conditions and should be able foster relationships with diverse teams in the organization. The candidate should be open to travel as per business needs.
What will you do?
- Proven work experience in product management with capability to handle the product lifecycle
- Ensure adherence of the product with the rules and regulations of the various regions
- Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for fraud detection and AML system implementations, create and analyse RFPs received by the team for best possible product
- Interact with the business stakeholders to gather requirements, document the FSD and get the sign off
- Suggest product enhancements for improving the user experience
- Analyse the RFPs received by the team to come up with the best possible product version that can be offered to the potential client
- Write epics and user stories in JIRA and track it to closure, Create comprehensive documentation including business requirements, process flows, and user guides
- Coordinate with Engineering & QC departments for delivering functional solutions, review the test cases against functional, non functional and UX excellence
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend system enhancements to improve detection capabilities
- Prepare the required documentation with minimal error
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance, risk management, IT, and business stakeholders
What skills required?
- Experience: 8-10 years of business analysis experience with at least 5 years specifically focused on fraud detection and/or AML systems implementation
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of AML/BSA regulations, OFAC compliance, KYC requirements, and fraud prevention best practices
- Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with AML platforms (such as SAS, FICO, Actimize, or similar) and fraud detection tools, including system configuration and rule development
- Process Expertise: Proven ability to analyze complex business processes, identify inefficiencies, and design improved workflows for financial crime detection and prevention
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with compliance officers, risk managers, IT teams, and senior leadership
- Documentation Skills: Advanced proficiency in creating detailed business requirements documents, process maps, use cases, and technical specifications using tools like Visio, Confluence, or similar
- Project Management: Strong project management capabilities with experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives and meeting regulatory deadlines, strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes
