Hitachi Energy India Development Centre (IDC) is a research and development facility with around 500 R&D engineers, specialists, and experts, who focus on creating and sustaining digital solutions, new products and technology. This includes product integration, testing, cybersecurity, and certification. The India Development Centre is situated in Chennai and Bangalore.

IDC collaborates with the R&D and Research centers of Hitachi Energy, which are spread across more than 15 locations throughout 12 countries. In the past 20 years, IDC has secured more than 200 international papers and 150+ patents.

Your Responsibalities

• Design, develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards based on Excel and Power BI
• Collect and manage data from different sources, automate data extraction.
• Ensure alignment of the different reporting (financial and operations)
• Analyzing collected data and presenting it into a format that others can easily interpret
• Use statistical tools to identify, analyze and interpret patterns and trends to help the diagnosis, predictions and decision making
• Prepare necessary presentations based on Power BI Reports for the consumption of and presentation by the Head of India Development Center
• Interact and co-ordinate with Managers and team members to ensure that administrative tasks like inter-departmental co-ordination, visitor management and other administration related activities of the office of the Head of India Development Center are taken care of.
• Facilitate with event / workshop preparation and execution by providing necessary support to the function head
• Update Monthly / Quarterly newsletters
• Upkeeping of the SharePoint data structure and contents.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree from reputed university.
• Minimum 2-15 years of experience as Business Analyst.
• Strong skills in Excel / Power Point / SharePoint / PowerBI.
• Advanced knowledge on Hitachi Energy tools such as Salesforce.com, Apttus, and Abacus are of advantage.
• Strong English language skills, written and spoken.
