Job Summary

The Business Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business data to support strategic decision-making. The role involves working with sales, operations, finance, supply chain, and management teams to identify trends, improve processes, and provide actionable insights through reports and dashboards. The analyst will support business growth by transforming raw data into meaningful information.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business data from ERP, CRM, sales, inventory, and other business systems.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to management.
• Perform sales, inventory, pricing, and profitability analysis.
• Identify business trends, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct root cause analysis for operational and business issues.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports for leadership review.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and business planning activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems.
• Automate reporting processes and improve data management practices.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and recommendations to support strategic decisions.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, VBA preferred).
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, or similar BI tools.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP.
• Strong understanding of data visualization and reporting techniques.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• MBA (Analytics/Operations) preferred.

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, MIS Reporting, or Business Intelligence.
• Experience in consumer durables, retail, manufacturing, or appliance industries is preferred.

Pay: ₹305,073.20 - ₹1,306,804.81 per year
