Business Data Analyst

Job Title: Data Analyst (Power BI, Python, SQL, ETL) – Retail/FMCG

Location: Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to provide actionable business insights.

• Work with SQL databases to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data efficiently.

• Use Python for data processing, automation, and advanced analytics.

• Optimize ETL pipelines for integrating data from multiple sources, including ERP and POS systems.

• Analyze sales, inventory, and operational data to identify trends and business opportunities.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security while handling large datasets.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in Retail or FMCG.

• Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Python, and ETL tools.

• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and BI reporting.

• Hands-on experience with data automation and workflow optimization.

• Ability to analyze large datasets and provide meaningful insights.

• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with ERP/POS data in the retail or FMCG sector.

• Knowledge of data lakes, big data technologies, and API integrations.
