Job DescriptionAs a CDS technical lead at Nokia, you will lead and direct engineering teams in the development of innovative Telecom Core Network software projects. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will define project goals and drive execution from inception to completion. Your role involves fostering a high-performance culture, managing resources effectively, and ensuring quality deliverables.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Plan and oversee Telecom Core Network software development projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
- Lead and motivate software development teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Allocate resources effectively and identify skillset gaps to ensure project success.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and mentoring sessions.
- Engage in code reviews and quality assurance to maintain high standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
Must-Have:
- 18-25 years of experience in delivering Telecom software application projects, with at least 7 years in a managerial role.
- Knowledge of 2G/3G/4G/5G core network architecture and call flows.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional software development teams.
- Expertise in project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.
- Expertise in Software delivery life cycle.
Nice-To-Have:
- Familiarity with 3GPP standards and related protocols.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSM, or PMP-ACP.
- Practical experience in Sprint Planning and Backlog Grooming.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in telecom.
