Job Summary:
Our Client KJBN Labs is looking for a Junior Cloud Architect who can assist in developing and deploying cloud infrastructure and solutions to meet business needs. This entry-level role involves working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), learning to optimize systems for scalability, security, and cost-efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
● Assist in designing and deploying cloud-based architectures and applications.
● Support the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
● Monitor and maintain cloud environments to ensure performance, availability, and security.
● Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and IT teams to integrate cloud services.
● Participate in troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues.
● Contribute to cost optimization and resource management in cloud environments.
● Stay updated on cloud technologies and best practices through training and certifications.
● Document architectures, processes, and configurations.
Required Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
● 2+ years of experience in cloud computing, IT, or a related technical role.
● Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
● Familiarity with networking, security, and database concepts.
● Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
● Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
● Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Associate).
● Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
● Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or DevOps practices.
● Understanding of IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.
