What You Will Be Doing

• Architecting and implementing sophisticated infrastructure transformations, including seamless migrations from legacy environments to optimized AWS cloud platforms
• Creating comprehensive monitoring ecosystems and developing intelligent automation for system oversight, deployment pipelines, and operational processes
• Taking ownership of critical infrastructure components including system monitoring, backup strategies, incident management, database migrations, configuration optimization, and cost-efficiency initiatives

Cloud Architect Key Responsibilities

• Champion reliability and standardization across our diverse product ecosystem through the implementation of sophisticated monitoring solutions, intelligent automation frameworks, and adherence to AWS architectural best practices.
  
  

Basic Requirements

• Extensive AWS platform mastery (our infrastructure is AWS-centric—experience with other cloud providers alone is insufficient)
• Advanced programming capabilities in Python or JavaScript for developing custom automation solutions and operational tooling
• Proven expertise in managing and orchestrating migrations for diverse production database environments (including MySql, Postgres, Oracle, and MS-SQL)
• Sophisticated knowledge of containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
• Demonstrated proficiency with infrastructure-as-code platforms (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
• Comprehensive Linux systems administration knowledge

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
