Job Title: Cloud Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cloud Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud (GCP). This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their skills in cloud engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in deploying and configuring multi cloud resources such as Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, and Networking components.
- Monitor multi cloud infrastructure to ensure performance, availability, and security.
- Support the team in troubleshooting cloud-related issues and incidents.
- Collaborate with developers, IT staff, and other stakeholders to support cloud solutions.
- Follow best practices for multi cloud governance, cost management, and resource organization.
- Document configurations, processes, and changes for knowledge sharing.
- Participate in a 24x7 On-Call support rotation.
- Working hours, US East 8am to 5pm
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud services.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (e.g., IP addresses, firewalls, VPNs).
- Basic experience with PowerShell or Azure CLI for resource management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and grow in cloud technologies.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2 + Years of experience in related field
Technical Skills:
- Compute: Virtual Machines, VM Scale Sets, App Services, Containers, Availability Sets
- Serverless: Application Gateway, Logic Apps, Azure Functions
- Load balancers, application gateways, Traffic manager
- Identity and Access management
- Cloud Migration: Azure Site Recovery (ASR), Azure Migration, Recovery Services Vault
- Azure DevOps : Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos
- Containerization: Azure Kubernetes Services
