Overview
Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure management, automation, and deployment. The candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions across public and hybrid cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure (compute, network, storage) using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Automate cloud provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Manage and monitor CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment of services.
- Implement and manage security best practices, including IAM, key management, encryption, and network security.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based applications.
- Monitor cloud resources and optimize cost, performance, and reliability using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Stackdriver.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams for troubleshooting and support.
- Participate in disaster recovery, backup, and incident response planning.
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform:
- AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, IAM)
- Azure (VMs, VNet, AKS, Azure Functions)
- GCP (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions)
- Proficient in scripting and automation:
- Bash, Python, PowerShell
- Infrastructure automation: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef
- Hands-on with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, AKS)
- Familiar with monitoring and logging tools:
- Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Cloud-native tools
- Basic understanding of networking (DNS, Load Balancing, VPNs) and firewalls/security groups
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Cloud certifications are highly desirable:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
