Cloud Engineer II (Azure Infra/DevOps)
Shift- 2 PM- 11 PM IST /Hybrid work mode
What you’ll do for Insight:
- Be eager to learn and stay up to date on new and emerging cloud technologies.
- Work as part of Insight and client teams, following Agile/Scrum approaches and ceremonies.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with teammates, client personnel, and client stakeholders.
- Knowledgeable about the latest industry trends, and highly innovative.
Background and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar or related role is required.
- Any relevant cloud certification is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with one or more cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a must.
- Familiarity with writing infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM templates, CloudFormation) is a must.
- Working experience with at least one of the CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, Azure Repos) is required.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux/Unix-based systems is a must.
- Proficiency in Azure infrastructure cloud services like Azure VM, VNET, Storage, Monitoring, Azure Functions, Load Balancers, Azure AD, Azure DNS, Traffic managers and Application Gateways for network optimization.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Expertise in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python for automation tasks
- Understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure cloud infrastructure
- High integrity, with a proactive, positive approach to work
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- A willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
