Cloud Engineer / Intern

Overview

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Cloud Engineer (Fresher) to join our technology team. The ideal candidate should have foundational knowledge in cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform - GCP), Linux server management, and basic DevOps principles. You will assist in cloud infrastructure setup, server hosting, automation, and supporting development pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure on GCP/AWS/Azure.

Manage and monitor Linux servers, including package updates, disk management, and security.

Configure and maintain Nginx servers for application hosting and reverse proxy setups.

Work with Redis for caching (optional but preferred).

Support the creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

Help in hosting and managing Python/Django applications on cloud infrastructure.

Automate tasks using scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

Assist in setting up and managing load balancers and ensuring high availability of services.

Understand cloud networking concepts such as VPC, subnets, firewalls, DNS, and routing.

Support backup and disaster recovery plans.

Work closely with developers and DevOps engineers to ensure smooth deployments.

Document processes, configurations, and best practices.

Requirements:

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

Basic knowledge of at least one cloud platform (GCP preferred; AWS or Azure also acceptable).

Familiarity with Linux OS and command-line tools.

Hands-on experience with Nginx server setup and configuration.

Understanding of networking principles in cloud environments.

Exposure to automation and scripting using Bash/Python/etc.

Understanding of version control systems (Git/GitHub).

Awareness of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins (preferred but optional).

Knowledge of application hosting (preferably Python/Django projects).

Nice to Have:

Redis setup and usage experience.

Docker or container basics.

Monitoring tools experience (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana).

Basic security practices (firewalls, IAM roles, etc.).

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
