We are seeking a talented and experienced Cloud Security Analyst to join our team, who will be responsible for helping ensure the security of our customers, staff, systems, communications, and data. This mid-level position requires a strong background in cloud security, with a particular focus on AWS environments.The Cloud Security Analyst will support the implementation, maintenance and upkeep of Zoox cloud security systems within AWS. This includes auditing and hardening existing AWS implementations, implementing network access controls, architecting and implementing AWS solutions with a zero trust mindset. The Cloud Security Analyst will contribute to architecture, design, and implementation work as we mature Zooxs Cloud security programs, processes, and practices. This role requires a combination of technical, communication, and soft skills in order to be successful. The Cloud Security Analyst role requires collaboration with members of the Information Security, IT, Product, and Operations teams. Experience with change management and a focus on customer experience as a key component of measuring success is a must. This role will work directly with senior Cloud Engineering and InfoSec Engineering resources on a regular basis.ResponsibilitiesBest Practice assessments and implementations within AWSReview existing AWS configurations and provide account and org level hardening recommendations Participate in Vulnerability Management efforts to analyze and remediate the findings related to different AWS servicesImprove security within AWS cloud infrastructure - Cloudtrail, SCPs, Network ACLs, Security Groups, GuardDuty, AWS Config, S3, WAF, Security hub, VPC Flow monitoring, etc Security Change & Compliance Automation - implement an IaC approach were possible. Documentation of existing environments (topologies) Qualifications

Join us in building and maintaining a robust cloud security posture that safeguards our organization's assets and data.Ideal Profile6+ years of Cloud Security Engineer experience supporting production cloud environments in AWS 6+ years of IT systems/application engineering/administration experience Ability to use Infrastructure as Code Tools (Terraform preferred)Ability to use programming languages (python, golang preferred) Proficiency in vulnerability management and remediationSolid understanding of network security protocols and the OSI modelFamiliarity with security tools and technologies, including Cloud Security Posture Management and/or Attack Surface Management tools Strong knowledge of security principles, including:Data encryptionAccess controlThreat modelingIncident responseAwareness of industry regulations and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, NIST 800-53, CSF, CCPA/CPRA, PCI DSS, GDPR)Ability to manage and improve cloud security postureNice to haveExperience using CI/CD to deploy Infrastructure as code, along with utilization of tools similar to Open Policy Agent to enforce policy before deployment.
