- Guide functional and technical teams through the architectural framework, ensuring compliance with BNP Paribas Group standards (security, cost, resiliency).
- Conduct feasibility studies, design reference architectures and prototype emerging cloud technologies (e.g., serverless, event‑driven, AI‑enhanced services).
- Validate vendor/partner solutions, run proof‑of‑concepts and support product‑selection decisions.
- Ensure platforms are secure, highly available, cost‑optimised and disaster‑recovery ready.
Supporting activities
- Maintain and enrich the PI Germany technology catalogue (reference architectures, approved services, patterns).
- Transfer knowledge on architecture standards, tooling and processes to project teams.
- Provide auditors with clear evidence of architecture compliance, risk mitigation and network design.
- Contribute to end‑to‑end automation of deployment pipelines (IaC, CI/CD, monitoring).
