Cloud Support Engineer

About the job:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, on-premise infrastructure management, and DevSecOps practices. You will be responsible for building scalable cloud solutions, maintaining hybrid environments, implementing infrastructure as code (IaC), and ensuring robust security through VAPT practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure-based solutions in a scalable and secure manner.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or other tools.
- Manage on-premise infrastructure, including virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), storage, and networking.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Conduct and remediate Vulnerability Assessments & Penetration Tests (VAPT) in hybrid environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to enable DevSecOps practices and shift-left testing.
- Ensure performance monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Network Watcher.
- Establish and enforce cloud security, backup, and disaster recovery policies.
- Perform network design and troubleshooting across on-prem and cloud (VNet, NSG, ExpressRoute, VPN).
Key Skills & Tools:
Cloud:
- Microsoft Azure (Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Identity)
- Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Azure CLI, PowerShell
DevOps & Automation:
- Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins (optional)
- Terraform, Bicep, Ansible (bonus)
On-Prem & Hybrid Infrastructure:
- Windows/Linux server management
- VMware/Hyper-V
- Active Directory, DHCP, DNS
Security & Compliance:
- Hands-on experience with VAPT tools (Nessus, Burp Suite, OpenVAS)
- Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud
Networking:
- Network Security Groups (NSG), VPN Gateway, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute
- OSI Model, TCP/IP, Load Balancing, DNS
