Your day at NTT DATA

NTT’s Cloud Transformation Consultants will work collaboratively as part of cross-functional teams to develop and implement a comprehensive approach that allows for rapid and successful adoption of next generation cloud services (Public, Private, SaaS, PaaS). Consultants gather all necessary information on the customer’s current environment to provide a concise framework of assessments around focus areas such as Business, Governance, Networking, Security & Compliance, Operations, DevOps, and Applications. Consultants take ownership for their respective engagements while working with the overall team to continually meet and exceed best practice and standards. Depending on the size and scope of a project, Consultants may participate in single or multiple workstream sprints and must be able to successfully manage their time alongside customer expectations. Working with global colleagues on this team, collaboration and teamwork are vital tools in this position. Our consultants must be able to navigate both business and technical disciplines to help our clients reach their overall strategic objectives.

Job Summary

Consultants take ownership for their respective engagements while working with the overall team to continually meet and exceed best practice and standards. Depending on the size and scope of a project, Consultants may participate in single or multiple workstream sprints and must be able to successfully manage their time alongside customer expectations. Essential Functions

• Execute comprehensive discovery sessions to gather all relevant information needed for cloud assessment and recommendations
• Work with clients via onsite or remote sessions to help understand challenges and current performance or capability gaps, and to gain a deeper understanding of both business and technical requirements
• Help to continually develop and enhance NTT’s Cloud Assessment and Transformation group standards and best practices
• Mentor other NTT team members as needed to participate in cloud assessment and during critical stages of transformation and migration activities
• Work with NTT implementations group as well as the customer to map out transformation and migration strategy
• Serve as a central point of technical contact for NTT staff regarding customer infrastructure and application questions during any transformation planning and execution.
• Assist in the creation and review of contract documents related to cloud assessment and transformation engagements
• Assist in developing both sales and marketing material as needed to further the growth of the practice

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years of Information Technology related experience
• 3+ years of consulting experience with medium/large consulting firm
• 2+ years of experience in cloud solutioning
• Passion for the cloud and digital transformation journey
• Proven experience leading cloud transformation engagements
• Strong knowledge in specifying selection criteria for cloud providers and appropriate architecture
• Deep knowledge trends in cloud applications, system integration, migration]
• Strategic design, implementation and migration of cloud solutions for medium and large size clients utilizing private and public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Ability to guide clients to identify and solve real world business and technology challenges
• Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple engagements at the same time
• Ability to work across North American locations and time zones
• Demonstrate a high energy and positive attitude that promotes flexibility, teamwork and initiative
