We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Cybersecurity Engineer / Product and Solution Security Expert to join our growing team!

In this pivotal role, you'll be at the heart of our security efforts, bridging the gap between our development teams and the Simcenter Security team. You'll play a key role in ensuring our products and solutions are secure, compliant, and always ahead of the curve.

What You'll Be Doing:

Under the guidance of our Product and Solution Security Officer (PSSO), your responsibilities will include:

Supporting Development Teams: You'll be a trusted resource for our development teams, helping them integrate security best practices throughout the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC). This includes assisting with the assessment of security alerts and vulnerabilities to keep our software robust.

Driving Compliance: You'll contribute to our compliance efforts, helping us navigate existing and upcoming regulations and standards. Your involvement in internal audits will be crucial in maintaining our high security posture.

Enforcing Processes: You'll help us strengthen our security framework by assisting the Simcenter Security team in enforcing both internal and SIM-level processes.

Incident Response: In the event of a security incident or critical vulnerability, you'll be an integral part of the team, contributing to handling actions and ensuring swift resolution.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a motivated individual with:

Experience: At least 1 year of experience in cybersecurity, or a strong technical background in a software development company with a keen interest in growing your application security expertise.

Cloud Know-How: Experience with AWS is a plus, and an AWS Security Specialty certification would be fantastic!

Coding Skills: Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages is highly valued.

Security Knowledge: A solid understanding of web/cloud security principles, including frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP TOP 10, and OWASP ASVS.

Tool Savvy: Familiarity with tools such as Splunk, Jira, and Confluence will help you hit the ground running.

Communication Prowess: The ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex security concepts to a non-cybersecurity expert audience is essential.

Programming Foundation: Knowledge of C/C++ will be beneficial in this role.
