DailyObjects - Technical Lead - MEAN Stack

DailyObjects is an Indian lifestyle and tech accessories brand focused on building design-led, functional products that enhance everyday experiences.

As we scale our digital and retail presence, were looking for a hands-on Tech Lead who can own delivery, guide engineers, and keep our ecommerce platform fast, stable, and easy to evolve.

Role

This role is ideal for someone who still codes daily, leads by example, and enjoys solving real-world product and performance problems without :

• Lead hands-on development across the MEAN stack: MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js, TypeScript
• Own end-to-end delivery of customer-facing and internal features
• Build and maintain clean, reliable REST APIs and integrate them with frontend components
• Improve backend response times, page performance, and overall system stability
• Debug and resolve issues across the stack from database queries to UI behavior
• Work closely with product, design, and marketing teams to ship features quickly and correctly
• Support fast-turnaround changes such as landing pages, modules, and third-party integrations
• Review code, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers through day-to-day guidance
• Contribute to basic testing, documentation, and release readiness
• Help the team scale smoothly by simplifying systems, not adding unnecessary complexity
  
  

• 7+ years of experience in fullstack
• Strong hands-on expertise in Node.js + Express
• Solid experience with MongoDB, including schema design and query optimization
• Strong frontend skills in Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Proven experience building and integrating RESTful APIs
• Good understanding of performance, reliability, and scalability in production systems
• Experience guiding developers via code reviews and technical support
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, product-driven environment
• Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows
  
  

• Experience with ecommerce platforms or high-traffic applications
• Exposure to Redis or caching strategies
• Familiarity with AWS and basic cloud deployments
• Experience integrating payment gateways, GTM, or other third-party tools
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and basic automated testing
