As a Data Analyst at Gigamon, you’ll play a pivotal role in powering strategic decision-making by architecting scalable data infrastructure and cutting-edge analytics frameworks. Your work will fuel insights for leadership, measuring the impact of high-profile initiatives through advanced metrics and storytelling with data. You will drive the evolution of data systems—benchmarking performance, diagnosing bottlenecks, and implementing innovative solutions that optimize business outcomes. Leveraging data from diverse customer touch points, you’ll develop audience segmentation, build robust attribution models, map the end-to-end customer journey, and deliver actionable performance analytics. Key Responsibilities
- Business Intelligence & Reporting: Design and maintain Tableau dashboards to provide actionable insights and streamline reporting. Automate operations and train analysts and business users on data tools and dashboards.
- Marketing Analytics & Insights:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze data and guide strategic priorities. Build attribution models, performance metrics, and customer journey maps to track campaign impact.
- Data Strategy & Predictive Modeling: Manage data modeling, ETL processes, and optimization initiatives. Develop predictive models and machine learning solutions to improve customer acquisition and retention.
- Data Infrastructure & Migration: Lead the migration from Azure to Snowflake and Power BI to Tableau, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal performance. Develop the strategy and architecture for a marketing data lake with effective data acquisition and governance.
- System Optimization & Governance: Identify bottlenecks, enhance data pipelines, and ensure data health and accessibility across teams. Partner with IT and marketing to align data infrastructure with business goals and ensure governance best practices.
- Training & Collaboration: Lead Snowflake and Tableau adoption through workshops and documentation. Foster collaboration across teams to promote data-driven decision-making and insights.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Math, Data Science/Analytics, or Business Intelligence.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in modern enterprise data architecture and analytics.
- Advanced skills in data visualization in Tableau and other similar tools.
- Proficiency in SQL, with familiarity in Snowflake or similar tools.
- Extensive hands-on experience with predictive modeling and machine learning using Python, R, or Java.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, Azure, and Tableau.
- Experience with Tableau, ETL processes, and data modeling.
- Knowledge of attribution models, segmentation, and predictive analytics.
- Analytical Skills:
- Strong data interpretation, statistical analysis, and optimization skills.
- Ability to track and enhance marketing campaign performance.
- Project Management & Collaboration:
- Experience leading data migration and lifecycle projects.
- Effective collaboration with marketing, IT, and data teams.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Focus on data governance and process improvement.
- Preferred:
- Experience with B2B marketing analytics and CRM tools like Salesforce or Marketo.
- A self-starter with a strong business mindset, capable of translating complex concepts into actionable insights.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with data management platforms like Knime is a plus.
