About the internship:
At Renan, we are harnessing the power of AI to create cutting-edge solutions for businesses worldwide. Our Text2SQL project focuses on improving the ability of large language models (LLMs) to generate accurate, efficient SQL queries from natural language prompts. Join us in shaping the future of AI-driven data analytics!Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. SQL query development: Create and execute complex SQL queries across multiple datasets. Analyze and troubleshoot SQL outputs generated by Text2SQL models.
2. Model evaluation & feedback: Review the performance of LLM-generated SQL queries for accuracy and efficiency. Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvements to the Text2SQL model.
3. Data validation: Ensure data integrity and accuracy by validating model outputs against real-world datasets. Collaborate with the team to maintain clean and optimized data pipelines.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with the AI/ML team to understand model behavior and identify areas for refinement.
5. Assist in documenting findings, corrections, and best practices for model training.
6. Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends in the industry.
7. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
8. Contribute to the overall success of the team by taking on additional tasks as needed.

MySQL and PythonOther Requirements:
1. Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Basic understanding of data modeling and relational databases.
4. Familiarity with machine learning concepts, particularly LLMs or natural language processing.
5. Experience with Python or similar scripting languages for data manipulation.
6. Knowledge of Text2SQL models or prior exposure to AI/ML tools is a plus.
7. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related field.
