DescriptionAbout the Role
Hansa Research Group is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic market research team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Quantum and SPSS, strong data processing skills, and the ability to convert raw data into meaningful insights.
You will work closely with project managers, researchers, and clients to ensure data accuracy and support high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process large datasets using Quantum.
- Create and validate data tables, cross-tabulations, and outputs based on project requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all stages of data processing.
- Clean, validate, and transform data to ensure readiness for analysis.
- Use SPSS to perform statistical analyses including frequencies, correlations, regressions, and significance testing.
- Develop automated scripts and syntax for efficient data analysis and reporting.
- Interpret and summarize analytical findings for internal teams and clients.
- Work closely with research teams to understand project objectives and analytical needs.
- Support questionnaire design by advising on data coding, logic, and flow.
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure high-quality data collection and timely inputs.
- Participate in client meetings when needed to explain data structures and analysis outputs.
- Conduct thorough QA checks on data tables, logic, and final deliverables.
- Troubleshoot data issues and provide quick solutions to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain documentation of processes, data dictionaries, and metadata for transparency.
- 12 years of hands-on experience in data processing and analysis within market research.
- Strong working knowledge of Quantum (QPS) and SPSS.
- Solid understanding of market research data structures, coding frames, and tabulation standards.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and spot inconsistencies.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).
- Basic understanding of statistics and research methodologies.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with coding open-ended responses.
- Familiarity with tools like R or Python for additional analysis (optional).
- Experience working on tracker studies or consumer research projects.
- Knowledge of dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
