About The Role

You will play a crucial role in transforming raw financial data into actionable business insights that drive our product strategy and development. You'll work closely with our AI and product teams to analyze transaction patterns, measure the impact of our intelligent automation features, and identify opportunities for new AI-powered solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly impact business outcomes by connecting data insights to our AI-powered expense management platform.

What You'll Do

• Data Analysis & Visualization- Analyze large datasets of financial transactions to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies. Create compelling dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex findings to stakeholders. Track key performance metrics for our AI features, including auto-verification rates and duplicate detection. Develop and maintain reports to measure AI agent performance and business impact
• Product Intelligence- Support the evaluation of new AI features by designing measurement frameworks. Analyze user behavior to identify friction points in the expense management workflow. Collaborate with product teams to quantify the impact of AI automation on time savings. Monitor and report on the accuracy and efficiency of our receipt processing engine
• Business Insights- Translate business questions into data queries using SQL and other analytical tools. Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. Develop and track KPIs for different user personas (spenders, approvers, finance teams)
• Data Quality & Governance- Ensure data integrity across our analytics platform. Develop and document standard analytical methodologies. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve data collection and processing. Help establish best practices for data management and reporting
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer science
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis (mandatory)
• Comfort working with large datasets and complex data structures
• Knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets for financial analysis and reporting
• Experience with Python or R for data manipulation
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) is a plus
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related field
• Track record of translating data insights into business recommendations
• Experience working with financial data or in fintech is highly desirable
• Background in implementing or measuring automation initiatives is a plus
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
• Excellent communication skills to present findings to diverse stakeholders
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team
