About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst – Data Governance professional who will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, security, and compliance of our enterprise data assets. This role requires strong technical skills in Python, hands-on expertise with Collibra, and in-depth knowledge of Data Governance principles and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain data governance policies, standards, and processes using Collibra.
- Design and maintain data lineage, data dictionaries, and business glossaries in Collibra.
- Utilize Python to automate data quality checks, data profiling, and metadata management tasks.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify and resolve data quality issues and ensure compliance with data governance policies.
- Perform root cause analysis of data issues and recommend remediation steps.
- Support data stewardship activities and promote data ownership across business units.
- Generate regular reports on data quality metrics and governance KPIs.
Mandatory Skills:
- Programming: Proficiency in Python for data automation, ETL processes, and data validation tasks.
- Collibra: Hands-on experience with Collibra Data Governance Center, including workflows, metadata management, and stewardship tasks.
- Data Governance: Solid understanding of data governance frameworks, data lineage, data quality management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Required Experience:
- Total Experience: 7+ years of working in Data Analysis and Data Governance roles.
- Proven track record of implementing and maintaining data governance solutions using Collibra.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a data-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Relevant certifications in Data Governance, Collibra, or Python are a plus.
