Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Data Management Specialist to manage, maintain, update, analyze, create, recreate and visualize data for operations including financial data of clients and organization. The ideal candidate is expected to have deep expertise and exposure to Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL and Excel based VBA/macros to manage, automate, retrieve, transform, and update datasets as per evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, transform, and organize large data sets using Advanced Excel features including Power Query, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
• Create and maintain automated Excel reports and dashboards tailored to business requirements.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations in Power BI for management and operational reporting.
• Use SQL to query, retrieve, update, and transform data from relational databases based on time-sensitive or custom reporting needs.
• Design efficient queries to support regular and ad hoc reporting.
• Maintain and enhance Excel-based macros and VBA tools to automate routine processes.
• Collaborate with teams across departments to gather reporting requirements and deliver accurate, timely insights.
• Maintain data integrity, security, and version control protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, nested formulas, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL: Ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot queries for large datasets; capable of updating, transforming, and managing structured data as needed.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI: Data visualization, DAX for dashboard creation, and maintenance.
• Experience with Excel VBA/Macro programming for automation and process improvement.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Clear and professional communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with US healthcare data.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts or ETL processes.
• Familiarity with additional scripting languages (Python, R, etc.) is a plus.
