About The Role
We are looking for a curious and hands-on Data Analyst to join Department: Project Systems You’ll build and test AI features under guidance, help automate documentation and data workflows, and support the deployment of safe, reliable models and LLM-powered assistants used by engineers, CQV specialists, and project teams.

How You Might Spend Your Days
As a Data Analyst, you’ll be:
- Prototyping and experimenting: Building small LLM apps and scripts (e.g., document summarisation, spec comparison, prompt libraries) and evaluating output quality.
- Supporting pipelines: Cleaning and transforming data; contributing to RAG pipelines (chunking, embeddings) and writing unit tests.
- Documentation & reproducibility: Maintaining notebooks, experiment logs, evaluation sets, and simple monitoring dashboards.
- Partnering with the business: Shadowing discovery sessions with engineering and quality teams; translating user needs into bite-sized AI tasks.
- Learning in production: Assisting with deployments, access controls, and safe-guardrails; fixing bugs and iterating based on user feedback.
- Contributing to enablement: Drafting how-to guides, prompt patterns, and internal wikis for reusability.

- The miles you’ve walked (must-haves)
- Solid Python skills and familiarity with Jupyter/VS Code, Git, and package management.
- Understanding of ML fundamentals (train/validation/test, overfitting, metrics) and basic NLP concepts.
- Exposure to LLM APIs (e.g., Azure OpenAI/OpenAI), prompt engineering basics, and at least one of LangChain/LlamaIndex.
- Experience with pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn; ability to work with SQL or Parquet/CSV-based datasets.
- Willingness to learn Azure tooling and follow good engineering practices (code reviews, doc, testing).
- Coursework or projects in computer vision, information retrieval, or knowledge graphs.
- Familiarity with MLflow, Databricks, or basic cloud deployment concepts.
- Awareness of GxP/CSV principles and data integrity (ALCOA+).
- Work on meaningful, real-world problems with immediate user feedback.
