Data Analyst

Overview

Responsibilities:

• Participate in business analysis activities to gather the required reporting and dashboard requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into detailed specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, considering multiple data sources.
• Collaborate with other specialists to convert legacy reports into BI solutions or a central reporting system.
• Transition developed reports and dashboards to the Operations & Support team, ensuring smooth handover and knowledge transfer.
• Provide support to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for all users, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Offer training and assistance to users in generating ad hoc reports, empowering them to utilize the reporting capabilities effectively.
• Maintain the timeline and accuracy of reports, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with the Operations & Support team to address any user queries or concerns related to the reports and dashboards.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in MIS reporting and analytics to continually enhance the reporting solutions.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, provide insights, and suggest improvements for data visualization and reporting.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by conducting regular quality checks and implementing necessary data governance processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth integration and maintenance of reporting solutions.
• Document processes, specifications, and user guides to ensure effective knowledge sharing and documentation of the reporting solutions.

Qualifications:

• MBA/ Master in Data Science / Analytics or MCA / BE/ B.Tech. in CS / IT and EC.
• Proven experience in gathering reporting and dashboard requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and data sources.
• Experience in converting legacy reports to BI solutions or a central reporting system.
• Proficiency in reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI. Open Source Bi, Oracle Bi.
• Knowledge of SQL and data querying skills to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality reports.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and provide training and support to users.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in working with Operations & Support teams for transitioning and maintaining reporting solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹11,356.09 - ₹49,594.15 per month
