Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data architectures. The role requires strong expertise in modern data engineering tools and cloud platforms to support advanced analytics, data warehousing, and business intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines and workflows
• Develop and manage ETL/ELT processes to transform and ingest data from multiple sources
• Work with large-scale data processing frameworks such as PySpark and Databricks
• Implement and maintain data models using DBT (Data Build Tool)
• Orchestrate workflows using tools like Apache Airflow
• Design and optimize data warehousing solutions (Redshift, Delta Lake, PostgreSQL)
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across the ecosystem
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to meet data requirements
• Optimize query performance and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
• Build and maintain integration with AWS data services such as S3 and Lambda
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and availability issues
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 6–9 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles
• Strong expertise in:
o SQL (advanced querying, performance optimization)
o PySpark and Databricks
o DBT and Airflow
• Hands-on experience with:
o Delta Lake and AWS Redshift
o PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Strong experience in data pipeline development and orchestration
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL principles
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS:
o S3 (data storage)
o Lambda (serverless processing)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work with large-scale, distributed data systems
