Job Title: Data Analyst (3 to 7 Yrs)

Overview:
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing insights to support decision-making. Your primary focus will be on gathering, processing, and analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful information. You will work closely with various teams across the organization to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Processing:
• Collect data from various sources including databases, APIs, and external sources.
• Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Develop scripts and automated processes for data extraction and transformation.
• Data Analysis:
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Apply statistical techniques to analyze complex datasets.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and findings.
• Insights and Reporting:
• Generate insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
• Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
• Collaborate with teams to develop strategies and initiatives based on data-driven insights.
• Modeling and Forecasting:
• Build predictive models to forecast future trends and outcomes.
• Evaluate model performance and refine algorithms as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with advances in data analysis techniques and tools.
• Data Governance and Quality Assurance:
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
• Implement data governance policies and procedures to maintain data accuracy and security.
• Conduct regular audits and validations to identify and rectify data issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field. (Master's degree preferred)
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and tools for data analysis (e.g., R, Python, SAS).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a passion for solving complex problems with data.
