Data Analyst

We are seeking a Data Insights and Visualization Specialist with strong expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform, particularly in Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, build, and deploy new features that transform data into actionable insights. The role requires hands-on experience in creating interactive dashboards using Power BI and/or similar BI tools, developing semantic models, managing data flows, and reshaping data for visualization. The role is an on-site role based out of Pune.

Your tasks

• Developing, deploying, and maintaining Power Platform solutions, including canvas apps, model-driven apps, and flows
• Designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards by applying data visualization and design best practices, analyzing and transforming data, and developing data pipelines
• Designing, developing, and maintaining/supporting advanced ETL pipelines on Alteryx or Azure Big Data technologies to ingest and integrate data from multiple sources for analytics and data science needs
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Power Platform applications
• Ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of Power Platform solutions
• Automating tasks via Power Automate and communicating with stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven insights and product vision
• Converting complex analytic and reporting requirements into simple, effective solutions
  
  

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in data analytics and data visualization with strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in creating interactive dashboards using Power BI or similar BI tools, semantic models, data flows, and building data pipelines
• Proficiency in Power Apps and Power Automate, including canvas apps, model-driven apps, and flows
• Experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, and using ETL tools like Alteryx
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and other enterprise BI tools
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and Sybase
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and Azure technologies such as Data Factory, Data Bricks, and Data Lake Storage
• Understanding of service architecture and automation tools
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies; Power Platform and Power BI certifications are a plus
