Overview

Position: Data/Business Analyst
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 7+ Years
Work Mode: Hybrid or WFO

Key Responsibilities:

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior business and technology stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, data needs, and current challenges.
• Advisory Support: Offer guidance on data initiatives, contributing to the development of scalable, governed, and interconnected data solutions.
• Data Quality & Governance: Lead initiatives to identify, analyze, and resolve issues related to data quality, standards, and consistency in alignment with business processes and regulatory requirements.
• Requirements & Solution Design: Capture detailed data pain points and facilitate the design and implementation of corrective and governance solutions.
• Root Cause Analysis: Investigate data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with business and IT teams for resolution.
• Data Stewardship: Serve as a trusted advisor to data owners, stewards, and consumers, supporting effective data asset usage and understanding.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Business Analyst and/or Data Analyst role, with a strong track record in large-scale data management or transformation projects.
• Industry experience in Oil & Gas or Aviation preferred.
• Data-Driven Mindset: Demonstrated passion for uncovering data insights, identifying quality and process issues, and driving improvements across data, systems, and business processes.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Proven ability to work in advisory or consultative capacities with business and technical stakeholders.
• Data Governance Knowledge: Solid understanding of core data governance concepts including Critical Data Elements (CDEs), data lineage, metadata management, and data quality standards.
• Technical Tools:
• Proficient in SQL, Excel, and Power BI
• Experience with data governance/management tools such as Alation, Anomalo, Palantir, AWS, or similar platforms is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹2,200,000.00 per year
