About the Role

ForesightFlow is JSC's AI-powered decision intelligence platform for fashion retail. Our clients make multi-crore decisions based on our reports. As a Data Analyst Intern, your analysis goes directly into those reports this is not data entry or shadow work.

You will work across four interconnected client dashboards Sales, Product, Inventory, and Finance to identify patterns, investigate root causes, and produce structured business recommendations that feed into our Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) consulting reports.

What You Will Do

Pattern Recognition Identify meaningful trends across dashboards and connect what one metric signals in another. A rising return rate in Sales should immediately raise questions in Product and Finance.

Root Cause Analysis When a metric moves unexpectedly, investigate why. Structure your reasoning clearly: what the data shows, what you ruled out, and what the most probable cause is.

Recommendations & Action Plans Translate findings into concrete, prioritised recommendations tied to specific data observations. Not just what is wrong what should be done, in what sequence, and what outcome to expect.

Market Context Situate client data within the Indian fashion retail landscape. Seasonal demand cycles, category shifts, and competitive dynamics affect what the numbers mean.

Report Writing Contribute clear, narrative-style analytical sections read by founders and senior management. Precision matters more than jargon.

What We Are Looking For

Must-have:
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Advanced Excel pivot tables, SUMIF, INDEX/MATCH, large dataset handling
Clear written communication you build a logical argument, not just bullet points
Business acumen you understand what margin, return rate, and inventory turns mean in practice
Comfort with incomplete data you document assumptions and do not over-claim

Good to have:
SQL, Power BI, or Tableau exposure
Interest in fashion and the Indian retail market a genuine plus, not a prerequisite

INR₹ 7,000 - 8,000 /month
