Job Overview

We are looking for a Data Analyst Associate for our upcoming Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) election project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling large-scale political and voter data, ensuring data accuracy through cleaning and validation, and presenting actionable insights through visual dashboards. This is a project-based position requiring an immediate joiner with a strong understanding of political dynamics and data interpretation.We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong skills in data cleaning using Excel, familiarity with lookup functions (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP), and an interest in political and social research. Experience with Looker Studio (Data Studio) or similar dashboarding tools will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Clean, organize, and validate raw survey and research data, primarily using Excel

Apply VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, IF, COUNTIF, SUMIF, and other Excel formulas to process datasets

Work with large data files to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness

Prepare clean datasets for analysis and reporting

Support in building basic dashboards and visual reports using Looker Studio

Collaborate with research and analytics teams to provide timely and actionable insights

Interpret data in the context of political and social issues, supporting election-related and policy-driven projects

Document data cleaning processes and help develop internal SOPs

Required Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables, text functions, logical formulas, data cleaning techniques

Basic knowledge of data validation, deduplication, and reformatting

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to handle structured and unstructured data

Interest in Indian politics, elections, governance, and public policy

Good written and verbal communication skills

Preferred/Bonus Skills

Experience in Google Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio) or any dashboarding tool

Exposure to survey data, polls, or field research

Knowledge of basic SQL or Python (not mandatory)
