Data and Software Engineer

As a Data and Software Engineer you will build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.

To be a successful Data and Software Engineer, you should have experience with:

• Develop responsive web interfaces and complex, interactive UI using HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+) and Angular 16+.
• Strong experience in UI/UX design and front-end engineering, with good background in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in Angular, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS/SCSS. Strong experience with HiCharts, D3.js, Chart.js, or similar visualization tools.
  
  
  

Additional Relevant Skills Given Below Are Highly Valued

• Deep understanding of design systems, component libraries, and front-end architecture.
• Experience designing for AI/ML platforms, data-heavy dashboards, or GenAI interfaces is highly desirable. Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.

Purpose of the role

To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.

Accountabilities

• Build and maintenance of data architectures pipelines that enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete and consistent data.
• Design and implementation of data warehoused and data lakes that manage the appropriate data volumes and velocity and adhere to the required security measures.
• Development of processing and analysis algorithms fit for the intended data complexity and volumes.
• Collaboration with data scientist to build and deploy machine learning models.
