Overview

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Data Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, managing, and optimizing the organization’s data systems, ensuring the integrity, security, and efficiency of data architecture to support business processes. You will collaborate closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to create scalable and efficient data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Architect Data Systems:
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, efficient, and secure data architectures for the organization.
  • Develop strategies for data collection, storage, transformation, and accessibility.
  • Choose appropriate data models and databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Graph databases) to meet business requirements.
  • Data Modeling and Optimization:
  • Create and maintain logical and physical data models, including ER diagrams, to represent business entities and relationships.
  • Continuously optimize database and storage solutions for performance and scalability.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders:
  • Work with business analysts, data scientists, and engineers to understand data requirements and design suitable solutions.
  • Assist in defining data standards and governance policies to ensure high data quality and compliance.
  • Data Integration:
  • Oversee the integration of data from multiple internal and external sources.
  • Ensure the smooth integration of big data tools and technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or cloud-based systems (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Security and Compliance:
  • Implement robust security measures to ensure data confidentiality and integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Data Warehousing & BI Solutions:
  • Design and maintain data warehousing solutions and integrate them with Business Intelligence (BI) tools for reporting and analytics.
  • Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to support analytical requirements.
  • Documentation and Training:
  • Create comprehensive documentation for data models, pipelines, and architectural decisions.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior data engineers and other team members on best practices.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends:
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments in data architecture, big data technologies, cloud platforms, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong experience designing and managing data architectures, including relational and non-relational databases.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, and BI tools.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
  • Hands-on experience with big data platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, or cloud-based platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with data modeling techniques, data governance, and security standards.
  • Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud-based data solutions (AWS Redshift, Azure Data Lake, Google BigQuery).
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with machine learning pipelines and data science collaboration.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
