Overview
Key Responsibilities
Administer, monitor, and maintain MongoDB databases, including MongoDB Atlas clusters.
Handle database performance tuning, backups, upgrades, and failover mechanisms.
Design and implement database strategies, security, and high availability solutions.
Develop and maintain Python scripts in AWS Lambda
Deploy, manage, and scale backend applications on AWS infrastructure.
Implement database monitoring, alerts, and data security best practices.
Analyze slow queries and implement optimizations.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
Write documentation for database standards, procedures, and architectures.
Required Skills
3–5 years of hands-on experience in MongoDB Administration.
Experience with MongoDB Atlas (cluster management, security, performance tuning).
Proficiency in Python
Experience with AWS Services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, and IAM.
Understanding of backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies for MongoDB.
Knowledge of indexing, sharding, and replication strategies.
Good understanding of Linux systems and shell scripting.
