Data Engineer - Immediate Joiner

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team in the next month.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement modern data architectures using Azure Data Services (Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, etc.).
• Develop batch data processing solutions, ETL processes, and automated workflows.
• Work collaboratively with data analysts, PowerBI developers, and stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver comprehensive data solutions.
• Ensure data solutions are scalable, repeatable, effective, and meet the expectations of business goals and strategies.
• Keep abreast with industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug data issues, ensuring robust and error-free data pipelines.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with a proven track record working with Azure services (being certified as Azure Data Engineer
  
  

Associate is an asset).

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with structured and unstructured data models.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure data services and tools (Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics).
• Proficient in scripting language like Python
• Understanding of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and working experience with PySpark.
• Experience in using Azure DevOps for implementing CI/CD pipelines is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
• Working knowledge of PowerBI is desirable.
