Position Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer with 2–4 years of experience to design and implement robust, scalable, and real-time data solutions. This role focuses on leveraging Snowflake as the cloud data platform while utilizing tools like Kafka, Debezium, and PostgreSQL to support efficient data ingestion, replication, and transformation.
The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in ETL/ELT development, a strong understanding of data modelling, and proven ability to work within a cloud-native environment. This role requires close collaboration with data architects, analysts, and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, governed, and high-performing data pipelines.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines using Snowflake.

• Develop and manage real-time data ingestion and replication using Kafka and Debezium.

• Integrate diverse data sources and transform datasets for analytics and business intelligence.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define data requirements and support data-driven initiatives.

• Optimize performance and tune data models within the Snowflake environment.

• Maintain the integrity and reliability of pipelines through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.

• Leverage PostgreSQL for replication, schema evolution, and source optimization.

• Ensure adherence to data governance and security protocols.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• 3+ years of experience with Snowflake (data modeling, warehousing, performance tuning).
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Debezium for CDC and data replication.
• Proficiency in SQL and understanding of ETL/ELT principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL structures, triggers, and query optimization.
• Exposure to orchestration tools such as Airflow or DBT is a plus.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data workflows.
