Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with a solid foundation in data engineering technologies and a passion for building scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Snowflake, Kafka, AWS, ETL processes and tools. Exposure to MLOps and experience in the capital markets domain is a strong plus.

What Will You Be Involved With?

• 
  Data Pipeline Development:
  
  
  
  • Build, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to process large-scale data from various sources.
  
  
  • Implement data ingestion and transformation workflows using custom apps as well as tools like Fivetran, Apache Airflow/Prefect and DBT/Coalesce.
  
  
  • Experience building pipelines for realtime data analytics using Kafka
    
  
  
  • Implement CI/CD processes for data pipelines
  
  
  
  
  
  


• 
  Cloud Integration:
  
  
  
  • Utilize AWS services (S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda) for efficient data storage and processing.
  
  
  • Collaborate with DevOps to ensure cloud resources are optimized for performance and cost.
  
  
  
  
  
  


• 
  Data Quality and Governance:
  
  
  
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
  
  
  • Implement data governance practices, including logging, monitoring, and security protocols.
  
  
  
  
  
  


• 
  Collaboration and Support:
  
  
  
  • Work closely with the data architect, analysts, and product teams to understand data requirements.
  
  
  • Provide support in deploying and maintaining machine learning pipelines, assisting data scientists where necessary.

  Capital Markets Focus:
  
  
  

Develop solutions tailored for capital markets workflows, including security master, ticks and quotes, trading and risk data.


What Will You Bring To The Table?

  Educational Background:
  
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

  Technical Skills:
  
  
  
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and AWS Cloud services.
  
  
  • Proficient in ETL/ELT processes.
  
  
  • Strong SQL skills and software development experience (Python|Scala)
