We are looking for a Data Engineer to help us build and scale our AI-powered data infrastructure.

Role Overview:

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that power AI-driven insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality data ingestion, transformation, and validation to optimize business operations and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines to process large volumes of IoT, GPS, and transactional data from our scooters, batteries, and user interactions.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality for AI model training and real-time analytics.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements and support AI-driven decision-making.
• Implement robust data validation mechanisms to ensure model outputs align with business logic.
• Design scalable ETL workflows for structured and unstructured data sources.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure uninterrupted data flow.
• Work on data modeling and schema design for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Implement security best practices for data access and governance.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, big data processing, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and distributed data processing frameworks (Spark, Kafka, or Flink).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for data storage and processing.
• Expertise in building and managing ETL pipelines, data lakes, and warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.).
• Understanding of ML model data preparation and validation.
• Experience working with real-time streaming data and batch processing.
• Knowledge of data security, access control, and compliance best practices.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in IoT data processing, geospatial data analysis, or AI-driven analytics.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML lifecycle data management.
• Background in transportation, mobility, or logistics industries.
• Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) for data visualization.
