Data Engineer

Overview

Duration : 12 Months extend Contract

Location : KL, Malaysia

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize ETL pipelines using Elasticsearch to support data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
• Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data is structured and available for analysis.
• Write and maintain complex SQL queries, develop scripts, and build data pipelines to process data efficiently.
• Implement data transformation logic using Elasticsearch tools and frameworks to ensure data is prepared for analytics.
• Develop and manage data models for real-time analytics, integrating data from various sources, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, performance, and data quality.
• Work with data science and business intelligence teams to support reporting, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making.
• Monitor and optimize ETL jobs for scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with data governance and security standards.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹190,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Elasticsearch: 3 years (Required)
• ETL pipelines: 3 years (Required)
• SQL: 3 years (Required)
• Elastic Observability tools: 2 years (Required)
