Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, strong programming skills in Python and PySpark, and experience with Databricks and SQL in a cloud-based environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment on cutting-edge data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Python and PySpark.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Work with Databricks to process large datasets in a cloud environment.
• Utilize Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with governance standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in complex data ecosystems.
• Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark.
• Proficient in SQL and performance tuning for large-scale datasets.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks in a production environment.
• Proficiency in using Git and GitHub for code versioning and collaboration.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
