🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines integrating data from financial systems, third-party APIs, and internal sources

• Develop and optimize data models for analytics, reporting, and regulatory compliance (KYC, AML, transaction monitoring)

• Ensure data quality, security, and integrity across all systems in compliance with financial standards

• Implement robust data governance practices including lineage and metadata management

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, analytics, and compliance teams to gather and deliver on data requirements

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipeline performance

• Contribute to internal documentation and data engineering best practices

🎯 Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering (preferably in fintech or financial services)

• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server)

• Hands-on with big data frameworks (Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink)

• Proficient in Python, Scala, or Java for data pipelines

• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.)

• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow

• Understanding of regulatory data standards (PCI DSS, GDPR, SOC2)

• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in fast-paced environments

• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

✅ Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with real-time data streaming / event-driven architectures

• Familiarity with payment systems or transactional data pipelines

• Knowledge of encryption and security best practices in fintech

• Experience in data warehousing design and performance tuning

• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows
