Job DescriptionAn experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.
This role focuses on designing, developing, and executing data migration strategies to ensure the secure, accurate, and efficient transfer of data between legacy systems (QuickBooks, Sage etc.) and modern ERP platforms (such as NetSuite).
Responsibilities
Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze source (QuickBooks, Sage) and target NetSuite data models and structures
- Design end-to-end data migration workflows, mapping source to destination fields
- Develop, test, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for large-scale data sets
- Evaluate and execute data cleansing, transformation, and validation activities to ensure data quality and integrity
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and application owners to clarify requirements and resolve issues
- Perform data reconciliation, troubleshoot migration issues, and document migration processes
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards throughout the migration process
- Support cutover and post-migration activities, including data validation and user acceptance testing
- Proven hands on experience (5+ years) with data migration for ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, …)
- Strong SQL, analytics and data transformation skills
- Experience with relevant ETL tools and processes (e.g., Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica, Talend) and scripting languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, Python)
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and best practices in enterprise data management
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards related to data handling (e.g., GDPR, SOX)
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional project teams under tight deadlines
