Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to build and manage scalable data pipelines and platforms supporting analytics and real-time data processing. The role involves working with large-scale distributed systems in the BFSI and capital markets domain.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines

Build and maintain data lakes, data warehouses, and streaming systems

Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, and external feeds
-
Work with distributed platforms such as Clickhouse, Apache Pinot, Hadoop, Spark
-
Implement data modeling, governance, and quality controls
-
Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, automation, and monitoring
-
Ensure data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance
-
Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and infrastructure issues
-
Document data architecture and workflows
Required Skills & Experience
-
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or similar roles

Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala

Hands-on experience with Kafka, Clickhouse, Pinot, MinIO, Spark, Hadoop
-
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases
-
Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration tools

Exposure to Docker, Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps
-
Good understanding of data warehousing and real-time data processing
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred

Experience in BFSI, capital markets, or fintech
-
Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and regulatory standards

Relevant certifications in data engineering, cloud, or big data technologies
