What You'll Do

• Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Develop high-performance batch and streaming data solutions using Spark and Python.
• Build robust data pipelines integrating multiple systems through REST APIs.
• Design modern Lakehouse and cloud-native data architectures.
• Optimize data processing for performance, scalability, and cost.
• Develop semantic models to support enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Implement CI/CD practices for data engineering workflows.
• Leverage AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate engineering tasks and improve productivity.
• Ensure data quality, governance, monitoring, and operational excellence across data platforms.

Required Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience with PySpark, Apache Spark, Pandas, and NumPy
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and distributed data processing solutions
• Strong understanding of batch and streaming architectures
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric
• Knowledge of Lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, Parquet, JSON, and SQL databases
• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with authentication mechanisms
• Strong understanding of data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, SCDs)
• Experience with Power BI semantic models and DAX fundamentals
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, or AI workflow automation
