Data Engineer & Analyst

About The Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer & Analyst with 4-5 years of experience who can build scalable data pipelines (ETL) and derive insights through analytics & visualization. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AWS data services, SQL, and BI tools and be able to bridge the gap between engineering and business analytics. Additionally, a strong understanding of emerging trends in AI and Machine Learning will be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & maintain ETL pipelines for processing structured/unstructured data using AWS Glue, Redshift, S3, Athena, Lambda, and Kinesis/Kafka.
• Work on data modeling, warehousing, and governance best practices.
• Build efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance in Redshift, RDS, and Snowflake.
• Automate and monitor data workflows using Apache Airflow or Step Functions.
• Perform data analysis & visualization using QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights in large datasets to support decision-making.
• Develop and maintain dashboards & reports for business stakeholders.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and quality across multiple sources.
• Develop expertise in AI, Machine Learning, and Advanced Analytics and apply these skills to enhance data solutions and drive innovation.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of experience in Data Engineering & Data Analytics.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python (or PySpark), and ETL frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data stack (S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Lambda, Kinesis).
• Experience in BI tools (QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI) for reporting & visualization.
• Knowledge of data warehousing & modeling best practices.
• Ability to optimize ETL pipelines & database performance.
• Exposure to big data processing (Spark, EMR, etc.) is a plus.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in data processing and analytics.
