Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to support enhancements and operational tasks for our Central Data Warehouse (CDW) application. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ETL development, strong SQL/T-SQL skills, and be able to provide comprehensive technical documentation including design and functional specifications. This role requires a blend of strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of data architecture, development, and governance.
- Support and enhance the Central Data Warehouse (CDW) application and related data pipelines.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SSIS and T-SQL.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Create clear, detailed technical documentation including design specifications, data flow diagrams, and functional specifications.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in data quality, data governance, and secure data access.
- Continuously optimize data processes and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Engineering, Database / ETL development, Analytics
- Strong working experience in SQL, T-SQL, SSIS.
- Expertise in Statistical modelling is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of the computer science fundamentals.
- Wide knowledge and understanding of db development, ETL, data governance, data access, data modelling and data storage techniques.
