As a Data Engineer, you will contribute to and support the data activities using Microsoft Azure technology. The data layer will enable data scientists and data analysts to enrich their analytics, data models and will allow collaboration with appropriate data access controls. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns, and develop insights to drive business decisions
- Design and implement data pipelines to efficiently extract, transform, and load (ETL) from various data sources into a central data lake.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and data mapping across multiple systems.
- Perform data quality checks, performance monitoring and troubleshooting as required
- Collaborate with peers and senior team members to optimize data processes.
- Active in shaping and developing data solution strategies, while using hands on experience.
- Identify gaps and provide recommendations to achieve Business must-wins and leverage automation as needed
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, data engineering or equivalent field.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering is essential
- Basic knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, data engineer skills such as data management, data visualization, and familiarity with data architecture is important and data modelling concepts
- Self-starter who is methodical and organized. Outcome-focused, upbeat, proficient, and reliable
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
