Join our growing Data/AI team to build scalable data platforms, data pipelines in Databricks and PySpark, and Power BI analytics which support operational and strategic decision-making. Your Role: Bridging data
As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in bridging data engineering and business intelligence capabilities. You will be responsible for designing scalable data solutions and developing impactful visualizations that support both operational and strategic goals.
You will work extensively with Databricks, PySpark, and SQL to build robust data pipelines and manage data transformations, while leveraging Power BI to deliver insightful dashboards and reports. Your strong expertise in DAX will be essential in enabling advanced analytics and efficient data modeling.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key, as you translate business needs into technical solutions and continuously enhance data quality, performance, and usability.
Your Role: Key Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights.
- Create and optimize complex DAX calculations and data models for performance and scalability.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced SQL queries for data transformation and validation.
- Use Git and Azure DevOps for version control, code collaboration, and PR-based deployment processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into data solutions.
Your Profile
We are looking for a skilled and motivated professional to join our growing Data/AI team. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise combined with a passion for solving business problems through data.
You should have hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, SQL, PySpark, and Databricks, along with exposure to modern development practices including version control and DevOps workflows.
To succeed in this role, you bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in data engineering or business intelligence.
- Experience as a Power BI Developer, Data Engineer, Data Analyst or similar role.
- Advanced Power BI skills, including building dashboards and reports and optimizing performance for usability and scalability.
- Advanced DAX skills for building complex analytical calculations and supporting effective reporting models.
- Advanced SQL skills for querying, transforming, and validating data in analytics and pipeline workflows.
- Working knowledge of Databricks, including managing tables, notebooks, and workflows in support of data engineering tasks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
