Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake & DBT Specialist)

We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our growing Data & Analytics team. In this role, you'll architect and implement robust data solutions using modern cloud technologies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and dbt

- Create and optimize ETL/ELT processes for various data sources

- Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems - Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enable self-service analytics

- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation

- Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions

Required Qualifications:

- 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering

- Strong expertise in Snowflake, including security, optimization, and best practices

- Proven experience with dbt (data build tool) for data transformation

- Proficient in SQL and Python

- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/ CD pipelines

Background in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

- Strong understanding of data modeling and warehouse design principles

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Airflow, Databricks, or similar orchestration tools

- Knowledge of streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis)

- Familiarity with data lake architectures

- Experience with real-time data processing

- Understanding of data governance and compliance requirements
