- 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on building and managing data pipelines.
- Demonstrable expertise in StreamSets, including developing pipelines with both Data Collector and Transformer.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis, profiling, and validation.
- Experience with other ETL/ELT tools and concepts.
- Proficiency in a programming or scripting language such as Python or Java.
- Experience working with various databases, including relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with data governance, data lineage, and data security principles.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
